Appstar – Resolving Issues
Appstar financial had to deal with three issues
1. A false allegation that Appstar Financial Services Company made frequent cold calls to merchants those who listed their name in the DND.
2. An accuse that Appstar Financial Company provided some offers on sign up and denied them after successful enrolment of the merchant.
3. Appstar Financial Company never mentioned about some fees during the sign up.
Scam no 1
According to the first accuse, the Appstar Financial Company made calls to the merchants listed in the DND.
According to the federal consumer protection law and marketing laws, a company or organization that calls a person listed in DND is liable for prosecution and a huge penalty and the repetition of the incident may end in license rejection and account freeze.
The fact to think:
Appstar Financial is a legitimate company with an experience of 10 years and growing as a giant in the payment processing industry. If several ‘DND spam’ cases reported against this organization, then the company could have closed many times.
Appstar financial delivered false offers to the merchants and cheated them after they enrolled to the program.
According to the federal consumer protection laws, delivering false offers are serious crime, which may result in the cancellation of company license unless the problems are completely resolved in favor of the consumer.
The Fact to think:
Appstar financial never delivered false information to the customers. After receiving several complaints, Appstar Financial Company identified some of their employees were working against the policies of the company by providing offers verbally to the customers and were terminated immediately. None of the official documents mutually signed by the company and the merchant contains the offers that merchants claim. Special resolution centers opened in Appstar to neutralize the merchants issue as soon as possible.
According to the scam no 3, merchants claims that Appstar never mentioned about some ‘hidden fees’ and compelled them to pay the fees in order to retain the service.
This claim breaks several rules mentioned in the federal consumer protection act. However, not even a single case reported against Appstar Financial Company in any of the US courts across the country.
The Fact to think:
Appstar Financial never hide any of the necessary fees, and all the fees details are provided in the manual, which has to sign by the customer. However, Appstar found that the actual culprits were some of their employees and they took appropriate actions to solve the customer’s issues.
Why you see scam reports on internet and other medias?
Most of the scam reports were published with wrong intentions and the genuine cases were resolved within specific time. However, official company reports states that some of the merchants relayed on online forums and blogs to resolve their issues rather than approaching Appstar customer support centre. Nevertheless, company took necessary measures to resolve the issues of that minority who have issues and not yet contacted the customer care.
